All About Writing

Every post I’ve written so far on this blog has been about writing in one way or another. I’ve been a little upset with myself for writing about writing all the time but today I decided not to be upset.  There is so much to say on the topic of writing.  It’s my current favorite subject.  I love writing.  I love the writing process and I love sharing stories about writing.  I enjoy it all so much that I have decided to dedicate this entire blog to writing and writers.

Two different fellow postaday-ers (borrowed this word from Mo) wrote about two different books today.  I’ve put both on my wish list.  First, Mo over at Mo’s Blog, wrote a post, Teach yourself graphic design.   Apparently it’s a design book for non-designers, like me.  Then, carlaat, over at One Wild and Precious Life, wrote an awesome post about lots of stuff.  Some of that stuff is about a book and a website that has already inspired me and I haven’t even bought the book yet.  Check out the post here.

Today has been a great day for me for organizing my thoughts and getting some research done.  I have a recommendation of my own to pass along.  If you haven’t ever heard of it or used it, check out Evernote.    I’m running out of time to do a good review of this service this evening but Evernote is an awesome tool for gathering and organizing research materials.  Check it out here.

Happy Writing!

  1. Rhonda, I think dedicating your blog to writing is a great idea. If that’s your passion, that’s what you should write about! I’m looking forward to what comes next!

Also, I took a look at Evernote. I was skeptical at first but then I started reading the tips & stories. It really does look useful. I’ve been using Google docs as a central place to keep track of stuff but it’s pretty limited. I think I just might give this a try. Thanks for the tip!
